The year is coming to an end with many highs and lows to its credit. First the passing of my Father in May was probably the bottom. Discovering the Hudson Valley Bikers Network online with a constantly updated list of motorcycle events added some adventure to my riding life. Linda and I have been wearing a groove in the roads traveling to Long Island to visit Mom and friends down there. My car has seen a lot of action in this regard.
The garage is lighter from the number of bikes and scooters I parted with and is down to a manageable number. I'm hoping that next season they will see numerous miles. I am grateful for my friends and relatives and the humor and support they give. I'm especially grateful for having Linda in my life. I can't think of anyone better to spend my senior years with. She gives me no end of happiness, love and endless amusement watching her use coupons to whittle down our food bills and gift purchases. Finding her again has the makings of a Hallmark movie.
I hope all of you have a safe holiday season and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
