As you can see by the video above I have a new project to fill my time. This poor motorcycle was sold to me by a person who would be better off doing woodworking. "It needs the carburetor put back on," he said as he handed me a pile of carburetor parts. "Oh, and there's something wrong with the starter relay." To make this story short I had to replace the starter motor and the carburetor because they were irreparable. Once I had installed the starter motor the bike would run with starter fluid for a few seconds indicating the carburetor I pieced back together wasn't functioning. The bike started and ran fine once I installed the new carburetor but now needs small details ironed out.
It has supplied me with a distraction to the sadness and will bring a smile to my face when I get the bike on the road in the Spring.
