Two years ago I sold my 150cc Chinese scooter and I kind of missed it. Don't get me wrong, my three bikes have done some amazing things for me in the last five years but I missed a small engine scooter in the fold. I learned in the ten years that I had my other scooter that there were some things about it that could have been better. It had small wheels that made it a little less than solid riding and the engine was working pretty hard at times due to its lack of power. The new scooter corrects some of those shortcomings.
The new scooter has two inch larger diameter wheels, the same size as a 300cc Vespa. Instead of having a 150cc motor this one has a 170cc engine with another couple of horsepower at the same weight as my old one. Instead of having Vespa styling the new model has sport bike styling. Not only that but it's bright red and when I mount it there will be a large box on the back to carry cargo, also bright red.

Once I get it registered we will hit the road and explore Dutchess County as I break in the engine. Future reports will reveal how well it works. Hopefully all I'll have is good things to report.
